How subscriptions, customer accounts, Unbg image processing, and analytics work.

Email subscription

After you submit an address, you receive a confirmation email. Unconfirmed addresses are not subscribers and do not receive later mail.

Delivery uses Plunk. Subscription data is not sold and is not used for advertising.

Customer accounts

Sign-in uses Google or a one-time magic link. There is no password. Session cookies are HttpOnly. The account page can delete the account, which immediately revokes sessions and API keys.

Unbg

Free mode runs open-source ormbg in the browser, so photos stay on this device. Pro and the API send images to Unbg, then to fal.ai BiRefNet. Source and result bytes are not written to R2 by default and are discarded after the response. Logs omit API keys, image URL query strings, and filenames that may contain personal data.

Subprocessors include Cloudflare for edge compute and D1, fal.ai for Pro and API cutouts, Plunk for login mail, and Google for optional account sign-in.

Site analytics

The production site at zhanghe.dev loads Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity. Admin pages, preview, and local development do not load Clarity.
